Why is over nutrition a form of malnutrition?

Malnutrition results when the body does not get enough amounts of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that are essential to maintain healthy tissues and functions of the organs in the body. Malnutrition results in those people who are either undernourished or over nourished. Undernourishment is caused due to consumption of very few nutrients and minerals or excreting them very instantly from your body before they are replaced by other nutrients.

Over-nutrition results when lots of unnecessary foods are taken. Not performing proper exercises daily, eating large amounts of vitamins and dietary replacements may also lead to Over-nutrition. Over-nutrition will cause difficulty to the body and it increases the weight by more than 20 percent. Risks due to over-nutrition can result also due to consumption of excess of fats and salt as well as food rich in nicotinic acid, Vitamin B6, Vitamin A, Iron which is not given by doctor.

Disorders due to over-nutrition or under nutrition might have bad influence on the body system including your seeing, tasting and smelling abilities. The nutritional disorder might also result in anxiety, mood changes, and changes in enzyme levels and abnormalities in tissues. The other symptoms that are observed due to over-nutrition causing malnutrition are low energy and fatigue, irritability, dizziness, poor immunity, dry skin, swollen and bleeding gums, decaying of teeth, under weight, overweight, poor growth, muscle weakness, osteoporosis, cardiovascular problems, heart disease, sleep apnea and respiratory problems.

Over-nutrition is considered as one form of malnutrition. When the body gets more calories, the functions of the cell will become disorderly and inadequate. Ultimately it results in poor health. Excess supply of nutrients can lead to vitamin and iron poisoning. Oversupply of nutrients for the growth, development and metabolism of the body will result in malnutrition due to over-nutrition. The excess supply of nutrients more than that is required for normal growth leads to malnutrition due to over-nutrition. Those who perform proper exercise and those who depend excessively on nutritional supplements from the diet will hardly suffer from malnutrition caused by over-nutrition.
