Why Does Voldemort have no Nose?

The Harry Potter book and movie series are some of the most fascinating and popular of all time and will probably never be matched in terms of sales and followers. This series goes back nearly a decade and I can’t see it ever really going away or dying out at all. There are way too many characters for this series to get old and so many people have latched on to at least one of each of them since the series started back in the day. One of the most important and interesting characters within the series has to be the man or creature they call Voldemort.

Voldemort is one of those classic villains that catches you off guard when you first see him and amazes you more and more as him character further develops. One of the most intriguing and confusing things about him is the fact that he doe not appear to have a nose on his face. I have always questioned why that is, but the answer is actually quite simple. As with many of the character in this series, Voldemort can change himself into a creature and his creature of choice happens to be a snake. Well, we all know that snakes do not have any visible noses on their faces, hence the nose free face that Voldemort has.

I have always found the snake characters quite creepy in all of the stories that I have read or watched over the years, so it should come as no surprise that Voldemort really grabbed a hold of me since he first made an appearance in Harry Potter. He is one of those great villains that will continue to grow onto people and hopefully develop into an ever more dastardly character as the series grows and grows. There is really no other series out there today that has grabbed the attention of so many people. Let us hope that this one actually lasts.

Wrong. He looks the way he does because of the years of dark magic use. It distorts his face and gives him the pale look as since he used to be a good looking guy.

He cannot turn into a snake.

Voldemort has a pet snake by the name of Nagini, that he can converse with because he is a parseltongue, a rare gift amongst wizards and a link to the fact that he is the “Heir of Slytherin”.

There is a point where Harry, through his magical link with Voldemort, sees through the eyes of Nagini as she attacks Arthur Weasley, but Nagini is not Voldemort, simply his pet.

His snake like appearance is most likely due to the fact that Voldemort has split his soul multiple times to make himself as close to immortal as possible through the use of horcruxes. Other ideas include the fact that he has constructed the body that he later uses out of dark magic, and may not have been strong enough to create a “complete” form, and so minor extremities such as his nose and hair were not created.

I say he’s pale because he bleached his skin so no hair would grow making it impossible for anyone to make a polyjuice potion of him as for the nose I think its because he was missing a part because petigrew was missing a part and he’s the one who brought him back because if you look at the back of quirells head there’s a nose there

Why would anyone want to make a polyjuice potion to pretend to be Tom Marvolo Riddle, well other than his followers.
